Step 2: Set Up and Optimize Your Grind Spot
Once you arrive in the zone, don't just start swinging at the first mob you see. Spend a minute or two scouting the highlighted area to find a high-density spawn point—you want a spot where a tight cluster of Flomeow-type mobs keeps popping up consistently.
When you find a good cluster, keep these two rules in mind to keep your drop rates high:
Watch out for crowds: Keep an eye on the local player count. If a spot is overrun with other players hitting your targets, move to a quieter sub-zone. If you aren't getting the dominant damage or tag on a mob, your drop rate plummets because you lose guaranteed soul drop rights.
Turn off your AoE skills: It sounds counterintuitive, but you should ditch your heavy Area-of-Effect (AoE) attacks here. Pulling accidental extra mobs slows you down and gives nearby players a chance to damage them, which fragments your credit and kills your direct loot efficiency. Stick to high single-target DPS to burst the Flomeows down quickly.
Step 3: Hit the Adelium Repository Daily
While open-world grinding is the core of the strategy, don't sleep on your dailies. You should never rely solely on world grinding if you want the pet fast.
Make sure you complete your daily Adelium Repository dungeon runs every single day. Clearing this dungeon can net you up to 80 Pet Chests a day. Every time you pop these open, you get up to 5 random generic or specific pet souls. It adds a massive influx of daily progress to your Flomeow collection completely passive to your world-farming time.
Step 4: Level It Up Fast (The Echelon Method)
The moment that 10th soul drops and you finally unlock your Baby Flomeow, the real fun begins. To get the absolute most out of its stats immediately without burning through your rare, premium upgrade materials, you'll want to use what the community calls the Echelon Method:
Stay in the lower-level areas for a bit longer and hunt down easy monsters to collect basic 1-star pet souls.
Use those easy souls to level five different baseline 1-star pets up to Level 5.
Once you have those baseline pets leveled, go out and defeat mobs with them active. They will drop general Soul Crystals.
You can feed these Soul Crystals directly into your brand-new Baby Flomeow. This pumps up its active level and boosts your account-wide owned stats quickly, leaving you with a powerful new companion and plenty of saved resources for the late game.
